The Opportunist

Many people can attest to the statement "Thoughts become things", some can relate to this unknowingly. Have you every thought of why there are times you feel "In the zone" everything is going great and the ball is rolling. That feeling is unbelievable, maybe you performed really well at a sports event or something happened where you received an honorable award. Or can you think of a time where things weren't going so we'll? When it felt as if you had a dark cloud following over your head. Well needless to say you may have attracted much of those feelings. Its actually quite easy to see if you pay attention, our thoughts throughout our days tend to make for each little decision we make, and ultimately the life we lead.
Much of the time when things are going great its because we are sure of ourselves, our abilities or the situation at hand we are taking ACTION with thoughts of only positive steps and outcomes. Likewise if things are not going your way its because of an unease, a hesitation or conflicting thoughts. The thing is that once you are aware of your mindset and each interaction or thought that you are paying attention to you can control your reaction and develop skills to keep you on the side attracting positivity and confidence and certainty in life. Just by seeing in every situation you can either accept it, reject it or change it, depending on what you are looking to achieve, you are consciously putting yourself in the drivers seat and giving yourself the ability to make a quick decision. Many human beings for reasons developed from childhood, certain beliefs, distractions, other people, television, and media have a mindset that focuses on obstacles more than opportunities. Television, media, belief systems and outside forces sometimes have people creating conflicting thoughts in themselves and thus reverberating to a subconscious level and eventually being able to be seen in peoples actions. When you become aware of these thoughts learn to detach from them, see yourself as being the driver, the one in control of your thoughts and actions, because too much negative talk is no good. You can only afford to only develop good habits if you seek to become an influential human being ( I know you may not want to be influential but if you start to think positive and practice positive actions you wont be able to help this because people will want to be around and learn how they can do it in their lives as well!). So at every chance you get practice paying attention to your actions and reactions to any situation, because everyone is giving the same series of events: opportunity mixed with difficulty but the few who learn how to react and develop consistancy in their thoughts, feelings and actions will always be on the top of the world.
