TrendSetters Elite Meets Johnny Cupcakes
If you have been following our brand since close to the beginning or if you are into the "street wear" clothing scene you know of the brand Johnny Cupcakes. We've been working independently for some time now and draw much inspiration from other brands, not just clothing brands, but this brand has put a twist on street wear since their inception in the early 2000's.
Johnny Cupcakes is a brand that took a simple cupcake and crossbones and turned it into a wildly popular clothing line. The brand has tricked people over the years to think it was a cupcake shop, when in fact it is a clothing line that markets its brands exceptionally well, from photography, to packaging, to product, to even hand written notes and secret messages in the gear. This brand has done it all and continues to reinvent itself, as well as shed light on how to build a brand and stay relevant to would be and future entrepreneurs.
Tonight the team at TrendSetters Elite Clothing Co. were able to sit in on Johnny Cupcakes lecture in Ann Arbor for the Johnny Cupcakes Coffin Tour. We had the opportunity to hear the lessons learned, mistakes made and all of his tweaks made to become such as successful brand. He also shared some inside information only you can learn from being at one of his lectures (I'd highly recommend anyone wanting to start a brand to attend one of his events!). All in all this is an experience to remember, and that is what his brand is all about, the experience. So thanks from TrendSetters Elite to Johnny Cupcakes, Keep up the good work, and hey you never know one day we may be honored to work with you or bless the stage and give some of our story to help the future learn to keep striving!
